Crushers, grinding mills and other mining machinery and equipment are often used in mining, construction and railway, if they are out of service for long time, normal production will be impacted in the future. In order to make crusher out of service for long time to work properly in the future, the author would like to introduce some ways for maintenance of crusher out of service for long time.

Firstly, the primary job is protection against corrosion, so we need to fix the peeling paint on device surface. Bare parts inside of the machine should be regularly buttered, to make sure flexible working of these parts.

Secondly, appropriate place for storing mining equipment. If conditional, it is best to store the crushers in a dry and ventilated room, or choose a flat on the ground and put boards under crushers, to prevent mechanical equipment getting wet. Cover the crushers with rain-proof fabric-covered cloth at the same time.

Thirdly, put off the cooling water in the engine, replace the engine oil, for crushers with tank, fill tanks with diesel fuel, to prevent fuel tank to be rusted.
