1. Introduction to the magnetic separator:

Magnetic separator is widely used for the resource recovery in timber industry, mining industry, ceramic industry, chemical industry, food and other workshop. The equipment is not only suitable for wet magnetic separation of the material that the granularity is below 3mm in the magnetite, pyrrhotite, roasted ore, ilmenite and other materials, but also suitable for the deironing operation in coal, non-metallic minerals, building materials and other materials. It is one of the most widely used and versatility equipment in the mining industry.

2 Working principle:

Pulp will flow into the tank through the mine box, under the effect of water in the feeder spray pipe; the mineral particles will enter into the mining area of the trough in loose state. Under the effect of magnetic separator, the magnetic ore particles will magnetically together and form a 'magnetic group' or 'flux linkage'. Under the magnetic force of the 'magnetic group' or 'flux linkage' in the pulp will remove to the magnetic pole, the mineral particles will be adsorbed on the cylinder. Since the polarity of the magnetic poles is alternately arranged along the cylinder rotation direction and fixed during the working process, the non-magnetic minerals in the 'magnetic group' or 'flux linkage' will fall down. The remaining 'magnetic group' or 'flux linkage' adsorbed on the cylinder is concentrate. Concentrate will rotate with the cylinder to the edge of the magnetic system. Under the effect of water spray, the concentrate will enter into the concentrate tank. Non-magnetic or weakly magnetic minerals are left with the pulp in the discharge chute, namely tailings.
